re: Robert Clark, what are you trying to say?

I do have some hypotheses to explain the blue features seen on Mars, some biological, some purely mineralogical. Blue rocks or blue patches on rocks have been seen at every Mars landing site, Viking, Pathfinder, and the MER rovers. Moreover they've been seen by the Viking orbiters and now by Mars Express. They've also been seen for centuries by Eath-bound observations of Mars. I'm convinced they are real and represent an important facet of the Martian geochemical makeup.
But you first have to recognize they are real before you can develop some theories to explain them.
