This photo shows the planned route of Spirit toward the Bonneville crater. Those who remember older photos will note that the "north" rim of Bonneville has the heat shield impact on it. One hopes that the rover might scoot around the crater to take a look at it.

I have no idea if Bonneville is shallow enough for the rover to get in and out of it.
