I'm enjoying these missions very much, but there are a number of things I've been wondering about:
Why have they been taking so few color images for several weeks now? It looks like they would want some high definition color shots of the plain outside the crater. They've only taken one that I know of. They're all blurry black and whites.
Why no new color shots of the Eastern Hill complex? Aren't they getting a little closer as they move toward the crater or at least getting to a place that would give them some intersting new angles?
Why haven't they taken any images of an earth rise, or sunrise and sunset pictures?
Is the plain outside of Opportunity's crater on a downward slope or is it just a deceptive angle?
What are those things that look like ridges not far outside of the Opportunity crater? I haven't heard them mentioned at the press conferences.
Which of the long range crater targets is the largest?
Questions I've been wondering about.
