And why on earth would we hold a basically anti-war stance on Kerry's part against him? Even now, after 9/11, war still sucks and is best left in the movies.

Was he not allowed to speak out against the war in Vietnam because he was a vet of that very conflict? I don't get that. Did he ever wish ill upon US servicepeople? Or was he just trying to get a bunch of kids (both American and Vietnamese) back safe-and-sound to their families?
