It wasn't the Republicans who defined Kerry's entire existence based on his Vietnam experience, while at the same time spitting on Bush's Guard service. Yet the Republicans are being blamed now for "making the Vietnam era an issue." Right.

It's Kerry's career as a Democratic Party buttmonkey in the Senate that he's going to have some trouble with.
