I heard a report on NPR that included an off-the-record account...
...of a conversation with an Iranian soldier and his wife. They told the reporter, quietly, that he was ordered to vote, and his official paperwork was stamped to make sure he did.
That's one way to ensure voter turnout.
The report included several accounts of conversations like this, in which the people opposing the mullahs would only speak where there weren't so many ears around.
This round to the mullahs. The people were apparently not thrilled with the lack of progress made by the last government either, but that happened because of clerical stonewalling.
It's not over yet.
