It goes without saying, though, that if Osama is in fact captured any time between now and the election, the Asshat Brigade will announce that it was deliberately timed by Bush, who on odd days is a Machievellian genius. Or is that on even days? Whichever. The other days he is a totally clueless boob.
Their proof? "Look at the tremendous political boost Bush got from the capture of Saddam! Oh, wait. We dismissed the importance of that entirely, didn't we."
