The government has a rare form of the Midas touch, everything they touch becomes as expensive as gold. Look at how cheap veterinarian medicine is. My dog had to have a major operation done to remove a tumor a few weeks ago, laser surgery no less. They used the same equipment used on people and it costed $500, the vet even made a house call to check up on her. Now imagine the cost of the same procedure on a person. Veterinarian medicine has no government or insurance entanglements driving up the price. If only people were treated so well.
