If It Looks Like A Duckand and Wobbles Like A Duck
It's not wise to bet it won't smell like a duck too. I am not surprised by these results and don't think anyone else should be. I always felt the contradictory lack of chemical evidence from orbit to match the visual evidence could be explained by subsequent gelogical resurfacing through dust and or volcanic action.
Nick and Gary have listed good reasons for doubt in the past, but not enough to make me bet against water.
