I've experienced something kinda sorta similar, where I click links and wind up on a page I don't think I'm supposed to be on, ie, I think I'm heading for community and wind up on CE.

I've always just chalked it up to being in a "click happy" state, which is of course the hand-mouse version of the Brain Fart.
