Jupiter
Today Jupiter (see video @ SpaceWeather.com) will be at it's nearest orbit to Earth this year around 400 million miles away.
Also on this day of March 4th a ring around Jupiter was discovered in 1979 by Voyager 1.
For you observers there is a new bluish cloud system that has developed near the equator as discribed by Sky & Telescope.
Hope your skies are clearer than mine.
