Spirits Rocks
I have been wondering for quite some time about the smooth black rocks at Spirit's landing site.
I believe they are chuncks of the smooth black bedrock as seen in Spirits Panorama images blasted all over the place by meteor strikes.
I don't think they have used the rat on this bedrock although they drove right by it.
