Nobody says it will be easy.
But it does appear to be headed the right direction.
And predictions of gloom and doom serve no purpose but to serve the political interests of those who would like to see gloom and doom become a reality...For no other purpose that to say "NAH NAH NAH NAH NAH: I told you so".
And that is a pretty weak argument against bringing Democracy to a region and a people who have yet to experience it.
I'm pulling for the Iraqi's and world peace.
If Bush and the Republicans get the credit, then good. They'll deserve it.
