The usual order of events is:

- Media trumpets big scandal

- Details emerge over next few weeks

- Media turns out to be full of crap

If Halliburton is pulling a fast one, the military will be all over them, and if they're guilty, nobody will be applauding louder than I am. And if they're not, like it was proven in the last flap? Until then, it was obvious that the story you linked was incomplete, that the author didn't know what was really going on, and that they ran with it because it was a shot at Halliburton, complete with a free shot at the president.

What is going on with the other food vendors? Event Source is an $87 million contract out of what the article says are multi-billions in this area that the Halliburton subsidiary is issuing. This was one contract out of many. Did anyone mention the name of the Halliburton subsidiary? Is just Event Source complaining?

Morrell, the ONLY real source in this story, "believes" Halliburton overcharged. Any documentation?

Do you know who Phil Morrell is? Ever hear of Morrell Consulting? Do you know what they do for a living? How it's connected to Event Source? Do you know who Paul Morrell is?

So, go ahead and jump on this one if you want. With any luck, so will the Democrats. They haven't gone face down in the mud for a couple of weeks now.
