I saw that point of light on two images and that's what crossed my mind too.

Either that's sunlight reflecting off of a very sharp and slick side of a cleavage of a rock or it's the heat shield. From looking at the rest of the shape of that feature, it could very well be the heat shield. I'm with Buck and say that it's a 75% chance that it's Spirit's shield.
