One day....maybe.

You think that one day a couple of humans, in space suites, will be standing here, and one of them will point and say “If you lookthis way you can see the Spirit lander.”

Then they will turn around.

“And if you turn around and look across the crater you can see the heat shield.”

“Imagin standing here when this happened. The heat shield separates,” the person says as they point to the Martian sky,” and impacts over there. Then you see the parachute with the lander,” the person says as they tunn back around.

“The airbags inflate and the retro rockets fire. The back shell and lander separate. The parachute and back shell go over there. The lander bounced there, there, and there and finally comes to a rest where you see the lander. Then, over several days, the Spirit rover, zigzags up the crater rim. It takes some pictures at this very spot.”

Fast forward a few centuries. Mars has been terraformed, the lander, backshell, and Spirit probe are in the Mars Smithsonian Museum. There are two people by they are in plane cloths. They are standing on a grassy field. Down below is a forest and they are having a similar
