But this is ridiculous. And I'm directing this to you. You're directing your misquotes to the group. Hell, if I just read what you cherry-picked, apparently deliberately distorting what I very clearly said, I'd agree with you. Because you'd be right. However, you were wrong.
Now, you quoted this paragraph.
Bowser - Before January 21, 2001, the political climate was such that there wasn't a whole lot which could be done in this regard. Based on the knowledge available no one would have been able to stir up much energy for jerking civil rights, increasing the lines at airports, and so on. Imagine if Clinton had tried to tell the American people that they were going to have to spend an extra hour, minimum, at the airport before every flight.
And you omitted this paragraph:
After January 21,2001, we don't know what could have been done, because they won't tell you what they did know. We are aware, however, that the National Security Advisor has said that she wouldn't have dreamed anyone would fly an airplane into a building.
As I said, you left out that paragraph, and replied - T. B. "If you had any honesty whatsoever, you would have put that date down as September 11, 2001. To claim that the terror environment suddenly "changed" when Bush took office is inane."
I did not claim the environment changed. I said we didn't know.
You called that "dishonest" and "inane".
Now, to quote you, if you had any honesty whatsoever, you'd admit your mistake, misquote and mischaracterization.
Because it doesn't make much sense to try to have any sort of communication when one is deliberately misquoted and the matter can't be straightened out. I'm sure you would agree.

That's how you got into this - misquoting.
