Really. Scott ran on a platform to "reform" the Florida Retirement System, on which about 40% of my retirement income depends. This in spite of the fact that it is one of the soundest pension plans in the nation; it was briefly in trouble at the beginning of the Bush crash, but has since fully recovered.
One of his goons tried an end run in the legislature,

they were routed, but they will be back. The billions in the pension plan reserves will go a long way towards "reforming" taxes for his pals in big business. The man ran an extremely dirty and vile campaign, not only against the Democratic candidate, but against his Republican opponent in the primary. He 's going after the state unions now, same as in other states.
This is a coup d'etat that is being carried out in almost every state of the Union, not only against Democrats, but against moderate Republicans. These guys know that if they can't dump Obama in 2012, they're toast, so they are on the march all over.
Turn on the lights in the kitchen at night, and they scurry around like cockroaches.
