Did Kerry vote to ‘gut’ intelligence?
As the article shows, while Kerry did propose to cut $1.5 billion from the intelligence budget in 1995, the GOP led congress actually voted to cut it by $3.8 percent!!! More than twice what Mr. Kerry proposed. You'll notice the right wing wingnuts don't mention this. What they also don't mention is that Kerry's proposed cut represented only one percent of the intelligence budget.
