We've had the "Bronze Age", "Iron Age", "Age of Exploration" [15th - 20th Century], "Industrial Revolution", "Steam Age", "Atomic Age" [1945 - present], "Space Age" [1957 - present], "Electronic Age" [1906 - present], "Era of the Personal Computer" [1981 - present], "The Internet Age" [1992 - present],..............

One thing is missing: Robots.
Not just the simple robotic-arms used on the shuttle, or the robotic-arms
used in assembly lines, but robots that can function as human beings.

The Japanese have done astonishing work in that field, and NOW it has
finally born fruit.
There's a humanoid robot the Japanese have built called ASIMO.
It can walk up and down stairs, recognize people, communicate, respond
to obstacles, etc...
The Japanese have also developed humanoid robots that can discriminate
between beautiful and not-so-beautiful women, that can play musical instruments, and even play games or engage in simple sports like
tossing horse-shoes.
And I haven't even mentioned the simple, inexpensive "robots" now
available to consumers to clean floors, etc.
Has the "Robot Revolution", "Robotic Era", or "Robotic Age" finally arrived?
