Space/Science » in reply to Transient liquid water under Mars-like conditions

Thanks a bunch. I appreciate the updates.

I've been trying in my non-technical, intuitive way to think of a way for liquid water to stay liquid - insulated in the salty pores of rocks, maybe, but I just can't get around that grinding, pervasive, patient, ambient temperature.

It would seem that it would get it's little cold hands on every molecule sooner or later, and once it had it, wouldn't let go.

Ah, the scientific community is lucky I'm not their theoritician.

And thanks again.
