In case you haven't been keeping up, we nailed the nuke ring, largely through Libya.
Right now, Musharraf is on a short leash, and working with us to attack Islamic radicals. Said radicals have tried to blow him up twice. I haven't even touched on the work the U.S. is doing to put a damper on the Pakistan nuclear arsenal.
Now, please try and tell me what we would have to gain by punishing Musharraf, getting him probably kicked out of office, or worse. Who do you think is going to replace him? A Green Party member?
