Where is a tractor beam when you need one?
I remember that movie.
That would be a lot of energy coming in. Is it true that a ship coming in from Mars has to decelerate the whole way (Basically, it has to slow down from Mars orbital velocity)? And ships leaving Earth, going outward in the Solar System, have to accelerate on top of the Velocity they inherited from the Earth.
