Space/Science » in reply to The discovery of Sedna brings the total number of planets to......8

Let's make it arbitrary: anything between 1,000km & 250,000km in diameter is a planet.

Here come the judge!
Judge Jacob S. has just handed down his ruling!

Ceres will now be considered a planet.
So will Pluto.
So will Quaeor...Or is that Quaeor Eye?
What's-its-name will also be considered a planet.
Anybody dare go against the judgement of Judge Jacob S.
will receive a 250,000 Euro fine, and be confined to Pluto
for a period not less than it's orbital period.

AHA!! I've just been informed that every member of the IAU
has been arrrested for violating my ruling.
And I understand a certain Belgian amateur astronomer is now
a fugitive from my justice. He can run, but he cannot hide.
