It's hard to express how amazing that sight is... to know that we are looking at our own world from the surface of another planet, an obviously alien (albeit familar thanks to all the landers) place.
If there are Martians, what kind of speculations do they have about the Earth, shining blue in their morning sky?
Since we, in a way, are the Martians, what sort of thoughts do we have about our tiny glimmering world as we contemplate it from Mars...?
