All the claims dating back at least 2 years are still correct. I'm not saying that ten years ago or twenty years ago the inspections were resounding successes, that has nothing to do with my claim: That dating back at least 2 years the claims [of the UN inspectors] are correct whereas the Bush admin is entirely wrong onm all counts.
And yes, I have read David Kays interim report, and there is more in there that damns your cause as there is data that advances it.
Notice, also, that the inspection regime already found evidence of (and destroyed!) Delivery systems that exceeded the range limitations (Al Samoud)
Also notice that the report says "we have confidence that .... research and development activities that were embedded in the Iraqi Intelligence Service"
There is no proof or finding or even definitive evidence offered. Nor also any evidence or finding of missles not found and destroyed by the UN- just an expressed confidence that " if OIF had not intervened, would have resulted in the production of missiles with ranges at least up to 1000 km, well in excess of the UN permitted range of 150 km."
So where are the missles that the UN did not find? Eh Tom?
And as far as intentions go: The UN Inspectors documented laboriously that those intentions existed. Are you saying we are to go to war over intentions that are frustrated and held in check through peaceful actions? The UN must now enter the business of mind controll?
This is all Bullshit- shreds and tatters of a case, Tom. You have nothing.
