Waiting for the usual "moral equivalency" arguments...

Well, I'm not going to try to make it...

But this murderous back-and-forth, this endless tit-for-tat bloodbath has to stop, don't you think?

I'm not immune to the irony of seeing the words "spiritual leader" alongside the name of an organization which brings death and violence into the lives of common people, but I frankly don't see what possible good is going to come of this.

Are we supposed to express surprise when more Israelis die? Or perhaps it'll be Americans or Brits. Are then it's our turn to wring our hands and swear vengence. The Israelis destroy some more homes, kill some more people and we shrug and say "Well, they just got what they had coming..."

Is there any point to this horror?
