Strong criticism

I'm surprised by this criticism of this article. It becomes disturbingly personal.

The ISS is in the wrong orbit for the Moon and doesn't have any equipment that can allow it to be used as a relay station from the ground to the Moon.

Multiplying the number of launches and waiting too long in LEO won't help either.
It's much better to use a Shuttle C kind of vehicle for the Moon. Maybe a LEO rendez-vous , but as short as possible and only involving 2 spacecrafts (one small and one large).
Even Zubrin says no need for ISS to go to Mars.
