Great stuff coming from the rovers. And more on the way.

The MER rover "Spirit" has already downlinked over 10,000 images.

Opportunity is soon to boot it over to Endurance Crater, 1/2 mile (800 meters away).
I hope JPL, or one of you (using animation software), will stitch together hundreds
of images from Opportunity's cameras in the coming weeks as it journeys to that crater
to make a good "travel animation".

But, here's the downside: Near the end of August the planet Mars will enter solar conjunction
until early October; communication between Earth & Mars will be interrupted ....So the MER rovers will basically hibernate for those weeks.
Fortunately...During those weeks of August to October, Cassini will be in orbit around Saturn [I'm optimistic]
and you could turn your attention to that planet at that time.
cheers.
