I've read that Rove scheduled the Republican National Convention to be around 9-11, and that there was talk of GWB actually receiving the nomination on the site of WTC. Think that's gonna happen?

For that matter, anyone think that WTC will be used as the backdrop for any more commercials?

And, for that matter, does anyone really think Cheney will be on the ticket?

As for me, I believe all of those are "no", a capital letter NO for Cheney, but I ain't bettin'. Maybe a little bit.

I think Cheney is out there now to stop a lot of political in-fighting, and at the time of the nomination he'll withdraw for health reasons and someone else be appointed. Frist, maybe. Not Rice, she's damaged goods. Or should be. Talks every Sunday on national TV but won't testify in public to the commission, or take an oath. That seems to be a declaration that she'd lie or has been lying.
