If you look at the thread subjectively, reading it as if it were a conversation, it was only moments ago that you first read Gilder's quote. Now you're in my face aggressively defending the quote against my observations of its consequences, like it's a passage from scripture and I'm a blasphemer.
It's just a quote, and I just made an observation. Please dial it down a notch, would you?
