Tom, you had a question about the National Geographic CD-ROM search features
You can search several ways, but to answer your question, yes you can search a keyword through the entire set (from 1888 – 2000) without having the CD’s loaded. All you need is the main database. It will bring up all the articles that contain your key word.
I have the 1888-1909, 1920’s, 1930’s, 1950’s, 1960’s and 1970’s. The 1910’s, 1940’s, 1980’s and 1990’s seem to be hard to find.
My question to the board; has anyone seen or heard of Astronomy Magazine putting their issues on CD-ROM?
