Space "expert" says shuttle has 43 problems

According to this guy. 28 must be corrected before it flies again.

Then again, everything this so called expert says comes into question after I read these statements he made:

The space shuttle, said Herb, can transport 60,000 pounds into space and could fit a Greyhound bus into its cargo bay. The program's goal was to do cost-efficient experiments in space, and Herb said the shuttle can transport one pound of materials into space for $200, compared with $10,000 for previous spacecrafts.

Space experiments have contributed to numerous advancements in research of medications for diseases such as diabetes, Herb said. He said the artificial hip joint and knee joint were developed by NASA, "and I'm going to get an artificial knee joint a week from today."

He said he's saddened that the Columbia disaster has knocked such research back on its heels, again.

"When we lost the Columbia," Herb said, "we lost the only space lab that we've got."

$200 a pound? This guy is on LSD, crack and heroin all at once! The "only" space lab?? Has he heard of the ISS?
