For years, the Left has been bitching about the "monopoly" the Right has on talk radio, and muttering about how they would wipe the floor with Rush if they had a chance. When this venture was announced, if you were listening to media coverage and pundit comments, you would have thought Christ was coming back.

"Behold Al Franken, coming in the clouds!"

Good grief, does anyone remember Al Franken on Saturday Night Live?

I made the point, some time back, that leftist talk radio won't succeed because most Americans simply aren't interested in what they have to say, which pretty much breaks down to "Americans suck." This simple answer didn't make very many people happy.

So now, they've got their "big shot," and I intend to be in the front row with each half of my face painted a different color, eating peanuts, and watching the slow, painful implosion. Ignore me if you want. Heck, I probably would.
