Ruggedized Laptops
I wondered how long it would be before people came to realize the advantages of a really sturdy Laptop. Until recently most of them were slow as grass growing. Some still used the 486 chips. But the new ones are really nice, heavy, but nice. And expensive, but if you don’t destroy it the first time it gets dropped you just saved a chunk of change in repairs or replacement.
And, with a decent laptop and a sat modem, it can be used online worldwide. Special Ops has been using them for quite some time now.
Balances out.
