Raoul?
As a young man back in the 1960's I remember some
"imported" televison programs shown on Canadian television.
Two television series from France, with English overdubs.
(1) "Terry La'Fronde"....
a TV series about a mythical French warrior,
who prefers to use a sling, instead of bow & arrows,
fighting the English invaders during the "100 Years War".
The story lines reminded me of a French version of "Robin Hood".
(2) "Le [The] Aeronauts"...
was another TV series from France
that I saw as a young man in the 1960's, again with English
overdub.
The storyline for the "Aeronauts" was simple:
Two French Air-Force pilots on a series of adventures
that led them into involvement with women, wine and
supersonic flights onboard "Mirage" Jet Interceptors.
Sometimes they battled criminals and troublemakers.
These TV shows were never shown on American television.
But you must have seen them on Belgian TV, Raoul.
Of course, you'll probably ask have I seen the TV cartoon
"Tintin goes to the Moon?"
No, sorry. But I have seen "Inspector Poirot"; Belgium's answer to Sherlock Holmes.
Jacob.
Hey, Raoul! Do you remember these television shows?
