that all their examples of the left are "lefty" and the right is "conservative"
hmmm. Yep. Theyre honest and unbiased and rational.
just responding to some:
Attack The Messenger: What, you mean like Attacking O'Niel, Shinsekei and Clarke as incompetent liars? Done here and elsewhere
History Will Be Kind To Me For I Intend To Write It: Yes, like beating up clinton for not invading afghanistan (Because, that was OBVIOUSLY a realistic option before 9/11!)... Like saying what a threat Saddam was to the US? Like alleging over and over connections between Saddam and 9/11?
Example given by author:
"The build-up to Iraq war has been treated in a similar fashion by the anti-war crowd. Before the war there were complaints that Bush wouldn't stick to one reason for invading, now there are claims that it was only about WMD."
Now thats a hoot. I don't remember anyone complaining about multiple justifications, from bush, in the lead up to the war, just multiple justifications after the war (Saddam is bad, we have to free the Iraqis!)
So is he not doing exactly what he is crtiticising?
I'm Not Hearing You -- La La La: Just totally ignoring what your opponent has to say and going on to something else
Hmm:
Q: doesn't it bother you that there are no WMD in Iraq?
A: NO! Saddam was BADBADBAD!!!
Look, this is kind of rediculous. This guy is trying to pin all these rhetorical evils and fallacies on the left- yet its clear to me that they are practiced just as much by the right.
Thought better of you Rob...
