Sick Perspective

One innocent life wasted simply for American President's ego is too many. That can be either Iraqi or American, or British or Polish. Or Japanese or South Korean.

Got it?

To say that 600, or 800, or a thousand isn't much by comparison is a bit, well, I can't think of a polite word.

And since the US isn't over there to free Iraqis, or they would have been treating innocent Iraqis with some respect, but for some other reasons, the loss of life is even more cruel.

And thousands of innocent lives are being wasted for one American President's ego.

Trying to compare Iraq to WWII is to place the US in Japan's position. Japan attacked the US without provocation in that case. That may be a bit subtle (pronounced "suttle"), though.

A comparison to Vietnam is accurate, though. Those lives were wasted. Also. For an American President's ego.
