"We did not ask for this war."

Nope, America is an innocent victim of this naked aggression. Poor America. Having to spend billions upon billions of dollars and thousands upon thousands of innocent lives half a world away.

Because after sanctions and bombings the Iraqis didn't love us. Well, they loved us, would greet us as saviors, but then something happened. No, they still love us, but try to kill us. A minority of them try to kill us. Just as a minority of us try to kill them. (Why are there 54,000 troops in Kuwait, anyway? Doesn't count against the number in Iraq?)

And the war on terrorism is based upon killing everyone who doesn't love the US and who sits upon a pile of oil. And then pumping their oil out of the ground.

Only Orwell could have dreamed of this use of the language.
