Iraqi allies warn US over Falluja.
"Members of Iraq's US-appointed governing council have condemned the US military operation in Falluja as bitter fighting enters a fifth day.
"One member said the operation was "genocide" after doctors there reported 450 deaths and 1,000 injured this week."
Now, what's the exit strategy? There isn't one. One dog's opinion.
What's the strategy for staying? The same as the #1, #2 & #3 priorities at the time of the invasion - protect Halliburton and the oil fields, try to kill everyone in Baghdad who doesn't like the US. Turn the rest over to the Iraqis, blame them for anything they can't control. One dog's opinion.
The US Ambassador will control foreign policy, oil contracts, etc. Much like the way Czechoslavakia, Bulgaria, Rumania were run by the Soviets after WWII. Same dog, still an opinion.
This country won't be safe for Westerners for a long, long time. Anyone doubt that?
