How to leave LEO

It's the moment to think about the best way to send humans further than LEO.

The rocket to send the manned CEV to LEO should be far less sensitive to wheather conditions than the Shuttle.

The unmanned heavy-lifter too, BTW.

There isn't any experience in transfering a large amount of fuel from one spacecraft to another, in weightlessness!
The fuel must not leak out if a long time is needed before its use.

My view is either send the whole thing at once to the Moon (moonlander, return spacecraft and crew) or the crew and CEV separately and have it dock within one day to the Moon spacecraft.
No fuel transfer and no time wasted in LEO.
