I understand that they have private security guards that are armed.

The going rate I understand is 80-100K tax free with free food and lodging. That qualifies as hazardous duty pay and I am sure some of our troops wish they were getting that. They, like the troops, are volunteers.

When I was a young man it would have been attractive based on the odds up to now.
