I read an article in Popular Science about the air base at Groom Lake, California. These UFO watchers were looking through binoculars at the same plane that the PS photographer was looking at. The plane was a 737, had USAF markings, and arrived there at 5:00 AM each morning Monday through Friday, according to the PS photographer.

The UFO watchers were convinced that it was a flying saucer.

I suppose that the USAF markings were assumed to be camouflage.
