Why differences between Fram and Eagle
I'm surprised at the comment of "much of the same". Fram looks like it was hit by a large bomb but Eagle crater showed little to no such disruption. Yet Eagle is larger and hence should have shown more. Why? Is Fram more recent, allowing time for disrupted rocks at Eagle to have been eroded by sand/wind? Or do the exposures at Eagle, as in the fissure seen last week, both represent deposition of this duricrust / sediment post formation of Eagle but prior to Fram?
