I know you were disappointed not to be present live at VAFB
to watch the successful lift-off of your handiwork today....

But I know you are delighted with the successful launch of the GPB
and it's successful deployment in its proper orbit today.

Congratulations to you, Tom, on your part in making the Gravity Probe-B
the successful orbiting-spacecraft it is right now...
Please extend my congratulations to the "others" who worked hard
to make the spacecraft, its launch and mission-start a success.
Enjoy! Break open the bubbly...

I'm sorry, Tom, that I can't find the link to NASA's orbital-tracking
website so you could choose a clear night to use binoculars to view your "handiwork" orbiting some 300 miles overhead, as it moves at 5 miles
a second...
Wow!...That will look good on your resume...
Cheers.

Jacob
