A couple of the puzzles didn't make sense to me, even after I knew the answer. I wasted huge amounts of time walking all over the place trying things in different locations and "worlds" to affect a solution. I have a low threshhold for wasting lots of time, only to have a "ok, whatever" feeling, upon discovery.
Though Myst1 made perfect sense, and I finished the whole thing without help.
'Nother thing I don't like about games like this is the necessity to wave your cursor over every stinkin pixal on every stinkin screen. A "Where's Waldo" book is a lot cheaper and scratches the same itch, I think.
So I never picked up 3. Was it more of the same, or should I give it a try?
I will also wait for your review before I pick up 4.

I was too stupid to finish Myst2 without large amounts of help (cheating)
