I've been searching the web for more information about the chemicals intended for use in this attack (Renum Crucis has some info). There has been some off-hand references to nerve agents but no details. The main chemical was simply sulfuric acid. I wasn't previously aware of this but sulfuric acid supposably aguments the destructive power of explosives. IF (a big "if") there were large quantities of VX, mustard or binary nerve gas components then this story gets a whole lot more interesting.

It's amusing that the main stream news media ignored this story for several days. Not that I'm surprised. After all, it is more important that we get the latest scoop about Michael Jackson's trial :-) . The web has really made the main stream news media obsolete (about time).
