I do know that the ones you kill aren't going to be committing any acts of violence or terror after that.

I also know that not killing our enemies doesn't seem to appease them either. When the World Trade Center fell in flames, we has zero troops in Afghanistan, zero troops in Iraq, and those we did have in the Middle East were killing nobody at all.

I also know that a number of Iraqis who have commented on this say that coming down on the enemy hard is the only thing that's going to work. The Iraqi blogs and other sources are quite useful in finding out what someone in that country thinks other than what you hear from al Jazeera.
