Raoul, have you ever seen Hadley Rille in your telescope. If so, can you make out the bend where Apollo 15 Explored. I wonder what size scope would be needed to see the 2km diameter St. George Crater. I think it would be neat to look at that area and think, “Humans explored this area.â€
Wishing you good viewing tonight. My boy is almost old enough for a telescope. I can't wait until I can explore the heavens with him. We'll need something better than the old scope I have now.
The Straight Wall is a good one. It has been a while since I last viewed it through the eyepiece.
