Bessel's Inverse Geodetic Method and Clairaut's Equation Incorrect?
Has anyone ever used these methods for plotting geodesics on spheroids? The 'official' algorithm that I'm using incorrectly plots geodesics at least 50 km off-course over a distance of 7000 km, regardless of resolution. Is there another way for plotting geodesics on continuous closed surfaces?
